To describe Ashtanga Yoga is to describe an intimate and personal experience. It is also to make a balance of what this spiritual practice has brought to my life and how the practice helps me identify the unique and individual needs in my search for real happiness.

Ashtanga Yoga is a method that starts a journey from the most gross and tangible which is the body, to the subtlest which is the soul.

Through a daily and continued practice of asanas, in a specific ordered sequence guided by a teacher, the practice will purify the body and mind to understand the experience of life building strength, discipline and devotion to know yourself better.

It helps to calm and focus the mind, to awake the awareness inside of us and provides the tools to let go of what we don’t need any more, removing toxins of the body, old patterns and habits that don’t let us see the light or the beauty inside and around us.
